FULLY ELECTRIC
in 2015 Steve Paddy Driving School became the first driving school in the Chester and Ellesmere Port area, and only the fourth in the UK, to offer driving tuition in a fully electric vehicle. As well as delivering the environmental benefits of zero exhaust emissions we're helping new drivers to prepare for the future.

TRAINING VEHICLE
I'm pleased to be able to offer you driving lessons in the new 100% electric automatic Hyundai Kona. It's zero emissions and equipped with the latest safety technology and driver aids.
AUTOMATIC
With the increasing number of vehicles on the road, driving an automatic can make sense as it's a much more relaxing and less tiring experience. More and more people are choosing to drive an automatic car and as a consequence more people are learning to drive in them. It's a less stressful experience and allows more time to focus on the road and anticipate the actions of other road users.

THE FUTURE
The UK is set to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2035 from when all new cars sold will be electric and therefore automatic. Several car manufacturers have already reduced or eliminated manual car production or have announced that they will soon do so, such as Ford, Mercedes, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo and others.
